Academics

Going Forward

On completing the advanced certificate in Christian Leadership, Peacebuilding, ECDE or Chaplaincy, graduates will be considered as peace-building, practitioners, leaders at foundational or middle levels, professional teachers in churches and schools and finally counselors. The graduates can work at elementary level of educational institutions, organizations, and communities. The students, upon graduation, should use their knowledge and skills to reach out to their immediate communities and the larger society as pastors, teachers, and operation directors of nonprofit or missionary institutions.

Certificate Programs

GSCS currently offers four advanced certificate programs, namely: Leadership, Peacebuilding, Early Childhood Development and Education (ECDE) and Chaplaincy.

The aim of these certificate programs is to provide teaching and training, rooted in Christian knowledge, practical skills, and leadership capacity. By the end of the courses, students should learn the fundamentals, principles and models of Christian leadership, peacebuilding, ECDE and Chaplaincy in their respective contexts, suitable for work at the local church, community, institutions, organizations, and society.

After the training, it is our hope at GSCS that the students will acquire relevant, solid, and useful knowledge, skills, and attitude change that will hekp them lead well while promoting peace perspectives.
